Does anyone know of a good wheel repair shop in CT, I have a really bad curb rashed rim and its the most embarrassing attribute of my car :eeps
Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. They come right to your door, (presumably) put your car on jacks if they have to, and repair your wheel to basically new condition.
They take check or cash only, as I found out after I got done booking my appointment :( So make sure you definitely have the cash to do it first.
I've heard nothing but amazing things about them. I'm going to be getting it done in the next 3-4 weeks or so. I'll let you know the outcome. I believe some other members have had it done, too.

Zell, do you know what Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists prices are around?

$125 per wheel for refinishing, $150 per wheel to unbend, $200 to refinish + unbend a wheel. At least, that's what it is in the Raleigh area.
That seems to be about the right price for this area, as my local indy BMW/Porsche shop will unbend them for ~$500. But I wanna refinish them too, so it's a steal for me to do both for $800 plus have them come to my place :D
While they're fixing the wheels I think I'm gonna replace my rear rotors at the same time. They've got a nice lip to them :( They're getting a bit on the thin side.

And let's not forget that in Cali we have Son Tran. The man is great when it comes to wheel repair.
But anyhow, the east coast needs a Son Tran. The search continues.
