Hey guys,

I'm curious about the pedal sensitivity on our cars. After driving a 2000 328i, I've noticed that the zhp's gas pedal is very light on touch respectively. Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this?

Sounds like an interesting theory. I know that my pedal is really sensitive but a little sticky. If I were to spray some lube on the mechanism it would probably help mine.

Mine feels very similar to my 325 pedal.

Not sensitive enough for me, IMO. Dinan tune will fix that :)

The only pedals that should be having that problem are cars with throttle cables.
It was my understanding that anything beyond the 328/323i has drive-by-wire.

Yes, our throttles are very sensitive. My E30 had a much, MUCH firmer throttle pedal.

I've never really noticed it to be sensitive? Just responsive, learn how much/when to use the throttle.

On another note, steering is something I notice. I drove a couple new 3ers today and damn the steering on those were HEAVY

thanks all. So our vehicles have more noticeable throttle response (sensitive to touch) when compared to a 1999 or 2000 model? I'm referring to automatics.

Isn't it supposed the be the other way around, due to the new cars' electric power steering?

Not sure, but some were difficult to turn. Our cars definitely have a lighter steering and its a lot better than the e9x's heavy steering
