Shop Day! Detailing the bimmer and more...

Now that I have your attention :) I started out detailing the interior. I scrubbed the seats with JaxWax Leather Cleaner, and also cheated and used it on all of my dash and plastic door sill trim and seat trim pieces too. I followed it up with Aerospace Protectant. The outside received a bath, complete clay bar rub down, and another bath. Then a layer of 3M hand glaze, followed by a coat of turtle wax. Don't know why I used the shittiest wax in the shop. My mind wasn't right yesterday, lol. Really none of us were right yesterday :) It took F O R E V E R for me to get that wax off the car. Porter Cable died. My Beater...

Yep! That is one of the stickers Bill made me :) I have the ZHP one on front and the BMWmafia in back.

LOL@ Dane. Hey, I got a thumbs up on Saturday from some guy in a black modded E46. Don't know many local guys with E46's so maybe he saw my sticker and will join the site :) I won't lie, he was pretty hot, lol!

I used the JaxWax interior to scrub everything down with, and 303 Aerospace Protectant to dress it after it was clean. I'm happy with the results, but made a sand castle on my floormats already. No matter how hard I try, there is always sand in my bimmer, lol!

BullfrogsM3: This is my beater, my intentions were to leave it alone since day one and never mod ANYTHING. So who knows whats next, lol...probably just more maintainance, it keeps breaking on me. Most unreliable car I've ever owned, le sigh. I love it tho!!!

Just noticed they have a setting to turn to FIRM, lol!

They are Koni strut knobs, you pop them on top of the strut to change the dampening from soft to firm.

Anyway, the car looks great and you are not the only one with sand issues. I live in a place where sand is very abundant (the beach).
