Me and my brothers own A S54 sedan and it has my crashed ZHPs interior and front bumper, it was originally a 330i ZSP and it has a full M3 drivetrain swap in it. Should my motor ever take a turn for the worst, we have an S54 just lying around... Ive considered buying the rear end for now so half the work is done later [emoji848]

I recommend checking out the buyers guide on Toyota-4runner.org. As well as the classified of course.

I've done a good amount of work to get her back to my standards for vehicles...

Went for a cruise in the mountains yesterday with my buddy. He in the C4 and myself in the E21. We had a blast. The Vette just walks away from this little car in the straights but the E21 corners surprisingly well. Very competent little downhill car.

this was from last night. we are away for a week visiting my in-laws and my wife's sisters and their families... the kids wanted to take the montero. "BAH!" says dad... we can totally fit everything in the ZHP! we have a lot of driving to do on this trip, so i figure i'm saving myself at least $200 in gas...

packed in this picture:

- 1 dirty ZHP w/ roof rack and thule 13cu-ft roof carrier
- 1 wife
- 2 kids
- 2 small suitcases
- 1 large suitcase (larger than both smalls put together, LOL)
- 1 cooler
- 1 acoustic guitar w/ hardshell case
- 2 sleeping bags
- 1 mobile office (i gotta work)
- 1 scooter (my son's gotta hit the local skateparks)
- 1 helmet
- 1 tool bag

...and there was still some room left in the trunk! :) on the 3.5hr journey last night, i averaged about 26.5mpg with the A/C on and doing 75mph. :) not bad with all of that drag!

yeah, the guy i got it from owned it for about 8 years, and did put a lot of work into the car. the rear floor started tearing so he decided to take it off the road. he replaced it with a new WRX STi sedan. really nice guy!

my pipe dream is to move this drivetrain into a Touring... we'll see what happens. :)

yep. and clutch at the same time, of course. most likely going with a SPEC 20lb steel SMF and either a matching SPEC clutch or the E34 M5 sprung-hub clutch and PP.

my original DMF is vibrating, i suspect one of the three rubber dampers has bit the dust.

that's actually a very interesting philosophy. my wife dreams of a 'family compound' for her mother, sisters and their families and us. there are some aspects of that idea that would be really great - others not so great (i like my space :)).

That was actually the second attempt and I did bump the wall. [emoji15] The good thing though was, I couldn't open the boot being that close. A little extra security was a good thing in that hood.

Do miss the backup cam from my Tacoma. Using that, I can get the hitch ball under the boat trailer, first time, every time. [emoji12]

Trevor, you nailed it! In India, even today the concept of a 'joint family' is very common. As a guy/girl, when you graduate from school etc and get a job, you don't just move out - unless you need to move to another city for the said job. Also, growing up in India (and I believe this is still the case) I would see that when one bought a car, he/she paid full cash for it upfront because family income is mostly pooled. The concept of financing a car for 48-60 months is quite remote there.

Yep! 18x8.5 ET38 upfront and some concave 18x9.5 ET35 in the back. Getting them mounted now with Apex studs. Still have to get my fenders rolled though.

Yes it is an M3 fitment but with rolled fenders they'll fit the ZHP rear. They still aren't on the car yet though because when they put them on the machine to balance them at my indy one rolled like it was out of round so I had to drive them over to Discount Tire but they checked out fine on their machine...? Tires going on the ARC8s are stock ZHP staggered sizes(225 front 255 rear) Michelin PSS.

I talked to Apex about which would be better for a non-M rear end and they recommended going with the 9.5s. They pretty much fit the same though since the offset for the 9' is ET30 and the 9.5 is ET35. I drove home from my indy without my rear fenders rolled and they aren't rubbing all that bad. Everyone that says you need major fender work to fit the 18x9.5 ET35 is wrong. Still going to do a light roll but it's no where near as bad as everyone made it seem.

Yeah I was on the fence about them when they came up for sale because I like the 135s so much, but these are the only set in this size known to exist, they're forged, and weigh roughly 18lbs. I also have Regamasters as my street wheels on my S2000. Sadly I'm about to return the car back to stock and sell it. I put an order in for a 2016 4Runner TRD Pro the other day.

DSC and brake light...looks familiar

It'll come on randomly and then not turn back on for 6 months! I keep forgetting to look into it since it does it so intermittently

Give your inside wheels a good blast of water. The speed sensors might have a bit of magnetic dust/rocks/grit on them. A flow of water directed at the backsides from the car to the other side might clean it up.
