Chuck, this is my second rescue. Have some pics of my Jetta, too, but it's nothing special.

Long time no see gents. Been busy playing the game of life and managed a promotion thats killing me in hours. But did manage to take a trip with the wife last week to the Boone/Blowing Rock/Linville, NC area for a few days. Had a blast, and the ZHP managed to maneuver 35+ miles of gravel country road (not intended, but went with it)

This town was flooded in 1916, rebuilt and then in the 40's flooded again and no longer rebuilt. Used to be a mill. Was recommended to head down this way via the "locals" Let me tell you, there should have been banjo's playing.

So then you'd recognize 221 and 90 West. 221 was the best driving road up there. Speed limit 55, no way you could maintain that, LOL. 90 West was paved most of the way, but it's what you see gravel there.

When I was taking her home from her opthalmology appointment I came to a red light and did a few rev match downshifts for some engine braking. At the light she looked over to me and said that she liked the vroom the engine made when I did that. I started laughing hysterically when she said this. It caught me COMPLETELY off guard as this is the last thing I ever expected to hear her say about my car. She is the most conservative person I know so this had me laughing the entire way back. :rofl

I remember not too long after I got my ZHP we had a death in the family (about 6 years ago) so the whole family got together and an Aunt of mine came up to me at one point over the weekend and said "I would take this (my ZHP) any day over that ugly Corvette your Uncle Terry has." We all have one of those "Uncle Terry's" in our family, the guy that gets a new Corvette (or insert any array of make and model vehicle) every few years and thinks they are made of pure solid gold. We used to live in the same town as I was growing up before I moved away as an adult and he is the reason I don't care for Corvette's to this day. I am sure they are great cars, but I'll never own one.

Thanks! I know exactly what you mean about that uncle Terry of yours. I've got one who seems to have a new muscle car every time I see him. Same with his wife. Right now they own a challenger and last time I saw them they had a mustang.

Regardless, combined with Hyperion battery+case upgrade (charging every 2-3 days), for only $35 shipped, there's just no better phone out there. The upgrade is also available for an S3, which I am using right now, loving it.

Awesome photos, Bayjatt. How many inches did you drop your zhp? Ride height looks perfect.

I am on BC racing coilovers and i basically have them maxed out. I would guess around three inches or so. The ride height is nice, at times it feels to low but my right inner fender scraps and i looked at it, it was becuase the previous owner had hit something and cracked the lip/splitter of the bumper and now the inner fender sits a little off.

Car looks great BP! Love the garage pic!! As for those rims, my local gas station/car wash today led to a sighting of TWO sets of those wheels. Both were 330 verts, one was black, another mystic blue with a blue top. VERY nice looking cars, and some of the best OEM, non-ZHP wheels available for the E46.

As for my car, she was getting some treatment there...

Thanks Dane, Had to spend some time talking to the guy that owns the cattle, he wanted to know why was stopping and turning around on the road. After talking to him I found out 95% of the cattle is his + over 1000 acres that I drive through frequently. Another very nice person here in Tennessee. He even invited me back to check out the water falls that's a little over a mile back on his property.

It was very cloudy today so, it didn't get its usual brightness. The picture has been enhanced with a circular polarized filter and Adobe Lightroom's graduated filter. In order to get the clouds to pop to my liking, I have the highlights and shadows pulled way into the negative. That and the shadows from the clouds are whats making it appear darker than it really is.

Huh I've never heard that. I actually have rot around my rear window. Do you have any time-saving tips?

No idea about the rear window, sorry :(. I'd look up a DYI on that, I bet there's one on e46f or here. In general though, that's what happens to our cars when they live outside. Mine lived in Sacramento, while the paint is mint, some of the rubber trim just dried up from the heat so I had to replace it.
