Well, yes it is when 3 out of 4 is how many refinished wheels you drove home with after expecting 4/4. They're sending the 4th Monday.
All in all I'm happy with the wheels. The finish quality seems very high. There is some texture on the insides of the spokes, though. And though I can't tell until they're on the car, I swear the color is different than stock. I swear this looks like it has a hint of anthracite in it. I'm very happy with the color, whatever it is.
I used wheel collision center in PA. Price ended up around $700 because three of the 4 wheels were slightly bent. When I say slightly, I mean they were a "1" on their "1-7" scale, "7" meaning badly bent. They said a "1" is easily countered with weights, but I had them make them perfect anyway.
Teaser shot until I can get 'em all mounted next week:

Am I crazy, or do they look slightly different than the stock color?

They look to have a slightly darker look. Very subtle. I'm digging it.

Very nice! Paint or powdercoat?

Paint, I think. Though he said something about a powder coated clear coat? Is that possible? I obviously know nothing about this.

Good decision on getting the wheels re-straightened.
Can't wait to see them mounted!

Pics are all of the same wheel, btw. They all look the same, oddly enough.

Thanks! You can definitely tell they're refinished as opposed to a stock, from the factory finish. There's a texture to parts of the wheels that's visible to me, and where the clear thins out towards the inner wheel, you can even feel it. They're not perfect, but for less than half the price of perfectly new 135s, I'm very happy with them. And for around the same price of used 135s, which are bound to have some flaws, I'm just as happy.
Now I need to get the pollen off the car to help the shines match.

Marc, the good news is that you'll probably be the only one who notices. I always prefer that. I hate when there is a blemish and others can tell. That's when I go into stage-five anality.
