Keep that spray junk away from BMW leather!!
I just bought Leatherique to try on my seats; the DS seat is showing signs of wear after nearly 74,000 miles sans intervention. Review to follow!

I've heard rave reviews on this product. I plan on trying it on my steering wheel and my center armrest.

I use the same as OP. I love it. Although I haven't really used anything else. Ignorance is bliss i guess...?

I'm a big endorser of it. I'm in love with it. The results speak for themselves and I only have 22k on my seats

I just picked up the interior cleaner from my dealer for like six dollars. Any of you guys have experience with it?

I think the consensus here is to use Leatherique. I have used it on my M3, an E30 M and this week, I will do it on my seats again. And all using the same bottles that they come with. There are a lot of leather treatments in one bottle!! So yes it is a little costly up front, you'll be able to use it for dang near the life of your car.

Two things that make Leatherique work exceptionally well--a horse hair brush and HEAT (from the sun)!
Oh, and attaching a spray nozzle to the lid of the container makes it much easier to apply.

Hey Dane, I just tried out that interior cleaner from BMW and I was pretty happy with the results. It cleaned up my seats really well (but they weren't dirty to begin with). It gave my interior that fresh BMW leather smell :) You definitely want to mix it in with some water because its really easy to start using alot of the bottle pretty quickly because it comes out with applying any force. thats what she said :shift

Isn't that really just a cleaner though? Now you should treat it with something. I've used Leatherique also and was really impressed. Best way to explain it is my seats went from looking and feeling like vinyl to a nice soft leather. An added bonus is you don't slide around in the seat anymore in the twisties.

Yeah, I dont think I need to treat it yet though? The leather is still in great condition. Should I begin treating my leather even though its not in bad shape?

I'm certainly no leather expert but I'd think you'd want to do it before it looks like it needs it. After all, it is 6 years old right?

But it looks like their prices are about 15% higher than at Leatherique. :eeps Depends on shipping prices maybe but your best bet might be something like this....

It can be used as a preventative measure, as Barry said. They may not look bad now, but they certainly are dehydrated, which isn't good for leather.

Yes, but you are also have severely acute OCD, Mr. I-Wax-My-Car-Every-2-to-3-Weeks. :)

I understand there's some big proponents of leatherique here, and I'm sure it's warranted, and I probably will try it out this summer. That said, has anyone had any experience with this stuff:

Seems like it might be a good "maintenance" solution?

I've been using Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner on the leather in three different cars over the years. Works great.

But I just picked up ECO Touch Leather Care to try out.
