So after driving manual cars all my life and only using the cruise control now-and-then, I learned something new on my E93.
From my 1993 Camry to my 2005 E46 (previous cars were manual, but not sophisticated enough to have cruise control), whenever I've had the cruise control engaged, depressing the clutch pedal has ALWAYS disengaged the cruise system.
Well, not on the E93 platform. You can be in 4th gear at 45 mph, depress the clutch and put it in 5th, let go of the clutch, and the cruise control is still working!
Isn't that crazy? Of course, hitting the breaks turns it off.
I thought this was odd enough to share with the gang.
Carry on.
