Will post pics later this week.

Tires are Potenza RE040, and they're down to the wear bars.

Don't want to ship, but I DO want to sell, so I'm going to price them aggressively:

$250 takes all four.

Define 'rough' condition... how bad? Bent/cracked, or just curbed?

NOT bent/cracked at all. When I say "rough" I mean "cosmetic."

There's curb rash and some paint flaking. One wheel is in very bad cosmetic shape. Pics coming soon...

This is the worst wheel - note the pitting:

This is what the three others look like from a bit of a distance:

Fronts are 18x8, rears are 18x8.5 Weight = heavy.

Are those tires part of your sale? And if so how many miles have the tires seen?

If anyone knows a good wheel repair guy, these are easily fixed. On the west coast, we have Son Tran. The guy is awesome when it comes to wheel repair.

Tires are for sale, Cameron. But they're pretty worn -- says Marc. Down to the wear bars.

Yep - take 'em! They're down to the wear bars. No doubt these can be fixed up if completely refinished. I dealt with a perfect storm of timing, procrastination, and generally wanting new wheels without the time to go get these redone _properly_.

Here's what they look like from a bit of a distance:

Wheels are in Jackson, NJ.

Right now the first person in line for these wheels is down in VA. We're trying to work it so shipping isn't involved, which would be expensive.

I'll keep updating this thread.

Some of us were looking for 135s for spare tires (instead of the donut wheel - "yum... donuts"). Anyone interested in buying and splitting this set up? Seems like it could be a cost effective way to get a spare matching wheel.

EDIT: just saw that they might be sold. For those who are interested, let's keep this in mind for next time. John

Sorry to be an internet tease, but I found a place to refinish them for a fair price. Not for sale anymore, for now.

I know, internet foul.

Here: http://www.wheelcollision.com/ at $130/wheel.

Place has a good track record that I could find.

I have no idea who that woman is, why she's on their webpage, or what she has to do with wheels, but I'm not asking any questions.

Off topic: Just read your screen name...Fawking LOL'd for a good 5 minutes!

$130/wheel isn't bad for a professional restoration...but I'd just rattle can them. Strip the finish and paint with some sand paper, bondo the curb rash, 2 coats of Primer, 4 coats of desired color, 2 coats of clear. Seems that that would be more fun than sending them off to get finished for $520...

Yes. Marc is definitely creative. :biggrin

hahaha thanks. You have to sooooouuuuunnnnnddd it out to "get it." :thumbup

Painting the wheels myself would be an option for a normal person with opposable thumbs and a working frontal lobe. But I'm a special case when it comes to work like that. In all seriousness, I'm sure I could figure it out, but I can't dedicate the time for it at this point.
