So just replaced the 2 coolant pipes under the intake manifold and car is running fine but there is a burning toxic oil smell that I cannot place.

I ONLY smell it inside the car when car is in idle, not when it is moving
Smell is not coming from the vent, outside whether it is air/recirculating inside air, as I am smelling the vent air from the AC and it smells clean
It doesnt matter if I have the windows up or down, the smell comes into the car in idle
Smell starts pretty much within minutes of driving
Car temp is good this while time, coolant is good
Its been about 2 weeks not so I am thinking it cant be some spilled oil that is burning off, it should have all burned off already then
No visible smoke anywhere

So I am just confused as to how the smell is coming into my car, and obviously where it is coming from and the cause.

I agree it sounds like blow-by. You might want to check other crankcase ventilation components like the oil separator.

Right on dude....
I think I found my future and forever mechanic FINALLY OMG, right next to my new cryptocurrency mining office, wow!

So at first he said it might be just the gasket so quoted me $75 part + $180 labor, guessing $90 /hr, not bad right?
Then after further inspection when they actually took it apart said I also need the cover so then it came out to 265 + 180 = 480 (tax)

Was this pricing fair?
Otherwise he is really nice guy speaks like real English, and nothing else is wrong in the car as I feel now from his work (u know what I mean)

Original BMW valve cover are $475-525. Aftermarket like Vaico or Rein are $273-302 from FCPEuro.
