Trunk / License Plate Light Support Broke

This piece is what I use mostly to life the trunk...

Now it broke in a couple of places and cannot be used to lift anymore or else it will break clean off...

Is this as simple as just getting this piece (what is it called?) and screwing a new one in?

Go to Realoem and input your VIN to see what you need. Look under:

Bodywork > Trunk lid

If it's anything like my coupe don't forget new screw inserts (they're plastic and snap into the trunk itself) and a new gasket

New ones come primed/black, so you'll have to paint to match or find a used one to match.
