40031
Finished in Imola Red over black leather,
Automatic transmission.
It is a two-owner car, spending its entire life in Florida and Georgia. It has never seen snow or salt. The owner recently moved to the Pacific Northwest (which is why it’s being sold) but the car has never seen winter there. It has a clean Washington state title and two functioning keys/fobs.
The current owner purchased it in Florida with 87,415 miles on it. It currently has 162,104 miles, the vast majority of which are highway miles, having driven coast-to-coast four times and north-to-south five times, plus numerous long-distance road trips. It is being driven locally during the auction so will have slightly more miles than shown in the photo of the odometer.
The body is in good condition with no dents, dings, or scratches. The nose and hood have some rock chips. The rocker panels and rear bumper have a couple of spots where the clear coat is peeling as shown in the photos.
The interior is in good condition. It has never been smoked in. The only issues are that the micro-switch for the glove box lock is inoperable, so it doesn’t open. And the driver’s seat back has a tear in the leather.
The convertible top is in excellent condition, but the hydraulic pump that operates it is tired and probably needs a rebuild or replacement.
Engine and transmission are strong and without issue.
Known issues:
Needs replacement of suspension bushings
Shocks and springs are worn
Hydraulic pump for the convertible top is weak
Left driving light lens broken by flying stone chip since pics were taken
Peeling clear coat on rocker panels and back bumper (see pics)
Front bumper cover caught on parking curb and is pulled slightly on right side (see pics)
Stone chips on hood (see pics)
Tear in driver’s seat back (see pics)
Loose stitching in driver’s seat bolster (see pics)
Micro switch on glovebox latch is inoperable
