Has anyone tried the KYB E36 M3 Strut mounts on the ZHP any issues? Thanks

Uhh let me get back to you on the issues part. I have some binding noise/feel in the passenger side when I turn the wheel but haven't been able to determine if it's the spring rubbing, the bearing grinding, or something else. I changed everything at once and introduced too many variables to track, as I'll do.

Just remembered this!
The spring (Eibach Pro-Kit) was indeed rubbing on the passenger well.
The KYB mounts also added noticeable harshness to the front end (makes sense -- very little rubber compared to the OE mounts).
I swapped the springs and strut mounts back to stock, so who knows which one was the real culprit. Probably could have just moved the mount out a bit more to get rid of the rubbing.
Either way, @Galapolis has been running OE e36 M3 strut mounts for years without issue. The KYB is obviously a copy, but maybe the durometer of the rubber is harder? Idk.

My E36 M3 strut mounts passed T?V last year where they check very carefully for rubbing. I also have the Z4M FCABs though which I think moves the Eibach springs a bit.
I remember one or two people who messaged me on E46Fanatics about the KYB mounts and if I remember correctly they were fine. Given the price difference I'd probably go KYB as well and just be ready to mess around with it if necessary to fix any potential rubbing issues.
