SOLD!!
Mafias,
I think I am sick!
I keep on buying E46 and E39 sedans, fixing most cosmetic issues, bringing maintenance to quite high standards with the intention to keep the car forever, only to find myself selling the car after a short period of time and losing thousands of dollars.
Here is the latest example (I am posting here first for few weeks before sending to CL):
VIN: WBAEV53464KM07539
Year: 2004
Make: BMW
Model: 330i
Price: $13,500, OBO
Mileage: 165,4xx
Transmission type: Manual
Body Type (coupe or sedan): sedan
Color: Imola red
Packages: ZHP, Xenon
Title status:Clean CA title in hand
Pictures and CarFax - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1G77zhQPaHkGFeLAkTCE-EMLjPWKIyE7b?usp=sharing
Mostly stock except:
- APEX Arc-9 hyper black wheels,17x8.5 non-staggered (no, I don’t have the OEM wheels)
- Coby steering wheel in excellent condition (less than 4000 miles)
- Kenwood head unit with Boston Acoustics GT-5750 amplifier and Morel Dotech Ovation 6 speakers (Bluetooth)
- BMW Performance drilled rotors
Condition:
Exterior - 8.5/10. The original paint is still glossy and shining. The hood and front bumper has rock chips. Few minor dents and scratches (see pictures)
Interior - 9/10. The interior is very clean. The leather is still soft. Driver’s seat shows normal wear, but no tears.
Owner history: This is a 4 owner car spent time in 3 states (AZ, TX, CA, so no rust). I purchased the car 1.5 year ago and only put on 4K miles. The mileage will go up slightly as I still drive it on weekend.
Reason to sell: My job now requires daily commute and a manual car is not suitable for the SF bay area traffic. I am going to EV (keep the opinion to yourself please).
Service history:
I have service records since day 1, which is priceless for a 19 years old BMW.
The car has been very well maintained and drives exceptionally well. Very tight, responsive, nimbly and just right!
Here is a list of maintenance under my ownership:
- Oil change, brake fluid, rear diff oil
- All three power steering hoses, power steering fluid
- Expansion tank, thermostat, upper and low radiator hoses, aux fan switch, new coolant
- Oil pan gasket, oil housing filter gasket, Oil line Vanos hose
- New air filters, trunk struts, hood struts, front sway bar link
- New tires and alignment
- New Morimoto projector (fix burnt ZKW reflector)
Imperfections:
- Rock chips, scratches and dents (mentioned above)
- The side mirror control is broken. I have the fuse disconnected now and manually adjusted the mirrors. I am the only driver, so really have no need to touch it after the initial setup. I have done research and troubleshooting and believe the motor in the driver’s mirror is malfunctioning. I have a spare E46 driver side mirror, just need to swap the motor in, but I never did since the issue did not bother me at all.
- The front driver window regulator may need replacement soon. For now, it works normally during warm weather. When the temperature is low, there is some noise to move the window.
- Sunroof guide rail may need replacement soon. It still works, but not very smoothly. I don’t use the roof, so never bother to look into it.
I hope this car goes to a good home who will appreciate this wonderful sports sedan in great condition with full maintenance records.
