So my dash instrument panel I might want to replace after seeing this

It looks way too tempting, and besides, my buttons on there right now are a little sticky and the clock doesnt work and there was something else also wrong with it... Unless this kinda of unit is way too expensive, is it a viable solution and upgrade and then which should I get, anyone done this and are happy?

It is very expensive. The base model with no extras (missing a fair bit of desirable features and most of the skins) starts at €819 before taxes. With all the skins and options, it tops out at over €1700!!!.

I also take issue with the fact that the rev counter is backwards with no option for a standard direction gauge.

Someone in the German forums had one of the beta models. His experience has been relatively good so I strongly considered buying one for the race skin. IMO that should be the only reason for buying it. No digital gauge design trying to mimic analog is ever going to surpass the brilliance of the double doctorate E46 design, but what I was sorely missing at track days is the bar gauge that you get with the race skin. I don't track that much anymore though so it hasn't been a priority lately.

BTW I used to never be a huge fan of the reverse rev counter but after trying it on a V8 Vantage I've grown to quite like it.
