Navigation Screen Locking Up

So I sold my car yesterday. I followed up with the new owner today to see how is ride from NC to FL was. He said it went great with the exception of the navigation locking up. I never really used the navigation that much or drove it more than 40 miles at a time, so I am not sure what the issue is. The screen itself is fine it is just the navigation that locks up. Any ideas? I don't want to be a bad seller as I have purchased many cars in the day and ended up running into issues within the first week that the previous owner didn't disclose. I tried to represent the car to the best of my knowledge - unfortunately this is one thing I never really used.

I have a 2006 and the navigation is extremely buggy and reboots - the radio will continue to play though. It’s 20 year old tech ��*♂️

Doesn't exactly answer your question but I've had my car for 7 years with the MK4 and have never even used the nav lol. It's so outdated - I pretty much only use the screen for the OBC and oil temp
