So unfortunately I think It's time to sell my ZHP. If you know about the ZHP, then you know they're special and have quite a bit of potential. They're also becoming harder and harder to find.
I've been driving it back and forth to work, and it's been fantastic, but I originally purchased it with the idea of possibly turning it into a track or spec e46 car.....and that is probably not going to happen. If I had more time and space.....then maybe, but just driving it around and putting miles on it doesn't seem to make much sense when I have another vehicle I can use for commuting.
Regardless of what your plans are, whether it's going to be for fun on a track or just driving back and forth to work, it will do the job and do it well. It's been reliable, surprisingly easy on gas, and of course fun to drive.
Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. It has been inspected, serviced, and it runs very well. Engine is strong, transmission is smooth, and clutch was replaced only 5k miles ago. There are no dents or major paint scratches, just your normal wear and tear from the years and mileage. The shocks and front bushings could use a refresh given the mileage, but for commuting they're fine.
Recalls:
Air Bag Recalls were performed very recently by Irvine BMW.
Maintenance:
Inspection and Maintenance were performed very recently as well, this includes:
- New Coolant Pipes under Intake Manifold
- New Vent Hose
- New Control Module
- New Trunk Wires
Oil has been changed recently, and there are no leaks of any kind. Car runs very well and will continue to do so long into the future.
Extras:
I have a few extra items that will be included with this vehicle:
- A new replacement driver window switch since the switches currently in the car work, but are starting to come unclipped
- A new perforated steering wheel wrap kit since the current steering wheel covering is well worn and due to be replaced
