Headlights chrome delete

I'm installing angel lights to my 2005 coupe and I already removed the sealed lenses and was wondering how would the headlights look with the chrome removed from the rings. For those of you that have taken the headlights apart, have you done it, are there any pics?

Just trying to make them look nicer. Any input?

Will the angel lights cover the chrime rings?

Mine has halogen/xenon btw

one of the rings, the inside one will sit on the top of the ring. the outer one will be outside of it. the rings will look ugly removed since there are notches. But you can take them out to paint them if you wanted to.
