I saw that video. I hesitated because of the shape at the end of the mast.

I installed the OEM Sport antenna in 2017 (65 20 2 296 761). I saw no difference in reception and worked great for using a car cover. Highly recommended

Did you just unscrew the antenna? I do not receive my replacement antenna until next week which will enable me to confirm its attachment point. The original antenna has an apparent elongated attachment point.

I jsut went with the original antenna, but its good to know the "stubby" antenna performs well.

it just unscrews, couldn't be easier..... just like the video John posted
