Anyone else have concerns about maintenance history etc? I find it odd a dealer purchased from the OG owner and wasn't able to get history. Can only has 4 carfax records which implies the owner did their own oil changes etc?
I want an IR 6MT Sedan and this is on the right coast to avoid shipping costs.... been a few on BAT I have bid on now that I look back on and kick myself for not buying (like the one that sold in Jan for $11250...)
Also, side note, I've been looking at bid history on the bidders, I find it weird they are all people that put in 1 big on cars nowhere near their sale price, just like they do it for fun to bump the price.....

The carfax says car was sold in auction on May 2021. Then dealer didn’t buy directly from the first owner.

That might concern me more. What BMW owner trades in their Original Owner special package car...

Yeah, it's annoying, there is a lot of that, especially with bidders that never win a car. They literally just bump the price up on every car.
See what he did here?? HeHe!

The prices on these have me thinking about selling my 03 IR 6Sp Sedan. Its had 160k of good use, has had shocks replaced with aftermarket (prior to my ownership), and the clearcoat on the hood and parts of the fenders is gone so it needs a good respray. Interior is Alcantara with a leather steering wheel. Just replaced the radiator overflow tank and the dealer said it was in great shape overall.
Driver's seat has a bit of wear, and I know its had some track time, but no idea how much. If i could get $10-11k, I'd be happy with my ownership time.
With three days left on this one, I expect it'll go up another $3-5k easily.
As an aside, I'm one of those guys that pids $10-15k early on some BAT auctions - and rarely go higher because a) i'm hoping everyone else will forget and I might get a steal of a deal, and b) I know people are willing to pay more and my early bid getting it up toward a realistic price won't really hurt anyone.
It'll be very interesting to see where this one ends up.
