I bought the car in 2013 and have put almost 100k miles on it. I have a binder of all the maintenance ever done on the car since day one including the window sticker. No accidents, CA car prior to coming to CT. Car has the stock BMW M3 rims with Michelin Pilot Sport tires on them and generic winter rims with Continental snow tires on them for the winter.
Great car handling and fun daily driver! The last of the smaller, simple BMW’s to work on. All of the big ticket items have been handled with any new problems being well documented in the community and easy to fix. I am very particular with my maintenance and when in doubt I replace it! Includes a box of brand new spare parts (fuel filters, F connectors, steering guibo, etc)
Negatives
Original clutch – These clutches are stout and can go a very long time. All the miles have been highway under my ownership and the clutch does not slip
Lots of rock chips on the front of the car
Clear coat is beginning to peel in the high touch areas
Small dent on hood and roof
Faded rear deck panel
BMW M rims need to be refinished
Needs new summer tires
Small chip in windshield
