I found some rims and Blizzacks for this winter on CL up in Cincinnati this winter and I have been driving on them for 2-3 months now.
The TPS does not work on them (I don't care, I know how to check air pressure in my tires).
None of the rims leak. So no cracks.
One does have signs of curb rash and I suspect is bent.

Symptoms: you hit 38-42 mph and there is a vibration in the rear, it goes away at higher speeds (or at least it is less noticeable). The vibration is not bad (I have been driving on them for 3 months or so, all in the city, rarely hitting 60 mph).

So is it a bent rim?

Or

I should have them balanced first and foremost, then find out if that one rim is bent.

And

I was quoted $135 to fix a bent rim, is that a decent price?

Bent wheels usually means vibrations at high speeds, like 65mph+. Also, I had a cracked wheel once that caused massive vibrations and it didn't loose any air, so I wouldn't assume there are no cracks just because it doesn't leak air.

If you bring the wheels to get balanced, they can tell you if one of them is bent. You can also check for bends yourself by spinning the wheels and looking for irregularities.

I just paid a guy that hangs out in my dealers parking lot with a trailer setup $75 to fix mine. The bend in mine was minor but noticeable at higher speeds. probably should've had him check all of them tbh.

Great data thank you guys. Will have them balanced first then.

You may want to check if they use “road force balance”.

Road force balancing can really make a difference if you have a trained tech on the job! It costs a bit more but it's worth it, to me. To find a shop:
