2005 ZHP: 151,367 miles. Guess 2,500
2011 X3: 123,565 miles. Guess 14,000
2012 335: 92,797 miles. Guess 5,000

On the 4Runner, I’d say 10K but, it may get revised for a 2022 if they make a significant change. I did have a 2021 purchased but, what I opp’d out wasn’t to be found.

The Boat, I’m hoping for 40+ hours. Last year was slim, due to COVID and getting a misfire back in August, that didn’t get repaired till October. (Bad plugs, back ordered with delays)

hmmm.. just sold my house, moving "somewhere?" and my with 2 BMW's are in winter storage, not sure where we'll end up????

But, I'll say 2K miles on the ZHP - so that would put me near 89K

and the '08 E92 is at at 24K, I'm guessing only 2.5K, so no higher than 27K

1. Touring: year was started with 184,509. I guess I will put 8k mile this year only, which is the half from 2020.

2. AW sedan: year started at 166,316. I think I will only put 4k this year.

I say yes, replace oil and filter this May. The oil filter could start to crumble after some time. That happened to me on my first e46.

My guesses:

ZHP: 9,500 miles
M3: 4,000 miles

I'm going to guess another 7,500 km. I don't recall the exact mileage on my car when I stored it but it was around 343,000 to 343,200 km or so. That should put me just over 350,000 km at the end of this year before winter storage again. But by the end of the year I should hopefully have a full-time job, if I move someplace with better weather I won't store my car and will rack up more mileage all the way until December.

Still a bit to go but, here’s a few

4Runner was replaced with a 22. Currently over 3K since 10/22
Boat: starting hrs. 87 ending 104.5=17.5

The 2 & 3 will be pretty low this year

For the 2021 car season I put the following on my cars:

Audi: 1 mile (from moving car around)
Porsche: 1 mile (from moving car around)
M3: 5,935 miles driven (total miles on odometer: 183,630)
ZHP: 6935 miles driven (total miles on odometer:236,935)


This year was a BMW year and I kept the Porsche and Audi at my garage..... next car season I plan to alternate and use the Porsche some and mostly drive the Audi and ZHP...

This year I was able to keep mileage down because of my work's max-telework usage policy and I was able to take full advantage of teleworking throughout the year. Being able to stay home to do my conference calls and work while saving gas and mileage wear and tear on my cars was very nice benefit of teleworking. :)

The Audi is going to the Indy shop after the Christmas holidays and have some much needed maintenance completed so I can start driving it next car season....

These are my final 2021 numbers:

2005 ZHP: 153,075 - 151,367 = 1,708 miles
2011 X3: 140,251 - 123,565 = 16,686 miles
2012 335: 95,953 - 92,797 = 3,156 miles

Total in fleet = 21,550 miles. This is very close to my predicted total : 21,500 miles.

ZHP was driven 900 miles - most was the move to NC from Florida
Lexus IS250 - 8000 miles - four round trips to NC from Florida
Lexus RX350 - 12,000 miles - four round trips to NC from Florida - daily driver with 54K miles

The funny part is comparing gas from a few years ago - before covid we spent around $450 a month on gas - during covid a tank lasts about a month

Touring - 191, 072, which made my total for 2021 being 6573.

White sedan - 171,589, which made the total for 2021 being 5273.

Not bad, considering that both cars spend 5 month in storage. In addition, my commute is only 3 miles one way to work since I moved to NC.
I think 2022 will be pretty low for both cars.

I drove almost 23000 miles in my camper van this past year, where 19000 is just my road trip across the country.
