You might also consider looking around your local junkyard/pick and pull. At least around here there are several M3s that are being parted out that look to have their strut bars available

just curious - are we confusing this with the carbon fiber strut brace that's $1000+++ ?

I see several of the OEM non carbon fiber M3 braces on ebay in the $200 to $400 range
