I just swapped some nice 435i seats into my ZHP along with a brand new leather-wrapped sport steering wheel. I've read all about leather rejuvenation/restore (such as Leatherique), but is there any product that might protect against UV rays? My last seats got a little baked, as did the top of the old wheel. I have 35% tint up front, but I'm not sure it's complete protection from the Texas sun in a black car. I could use a sunshade, but I'm too lazy :P
If anyone has used something that worked for them it'd be awesome to check it out. Cheers.

There are many leather products that include UV protection, from 303, Chemical Guys, Meguiar's, Leather Magic, etc.
Autogeek is one source: https://www.autogeek.net/leathercare.html
Detailed Image is another: https://www.detailedimage.com/Leather-C27/
CarPro makes a Cquartz leather coating that I'm happy with over the past 6 months: https://www.detailedimage.com/CarPro-M53/Cquartz-Leather-Coating-P1322/50-ml-S2/
I used it on the driver's seat bolsters, steering wheel & shift knob of my wife's F22. I haven't been able to train her to do it, but I turn my steering wheel upside down or throw a microfiber over it when parked.
I haven't found Leatherique to work well on BMW leather from E36s on - the color dye/finish is essentially sprayed on & doesn't "take" the conditioners like E23/28/30 seats do.

Much appreciate the info. I was interested in trying the Leatherique but have heard similar things. Also I heard that the UV protection is very minimal so that it doesn't affect the PH. I might give the CarPro product a shot.

Is the leather finished (i.e., BMW put a coat of structural bumps on top of leather), or is it just straight leather?
If its the former, I like Aeorospace 303 formula. That stuff is awesome for the inside of the car. Not oily, not streaky, no finger marks,etc...
If its the later, I am not sure that aerospace 303 should be used.

F32 sport seats, so I believe they are coated yes. I'll have to give that a shot!
