Let's write down our initial mileage in 2020. Guess how many miles you will drive this year and compare with the real number when 2020 is over.

2005 ZHP: 148,865 miles. Guess 2,000
2011 X3: 110,205 miles. Guess 15,000
2012 335: 89,775 miles. Guess 7,500

Happy New Year and happy motoring in 2020!

Beginning of the year started with following mileage:

1. AW sedan - 159,104.
2. Touring - 169,508.

I think I will end up with 8k for sedan and 12k for touring.

Starting miles:

2004 ZHP: 63,707
2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee: 131,100
2019 Jeep Wrangler: 9,350

Estimated 2020 miles:

2004 ZHP: 6,000. Will get more use in general as the Wrangler will have the roof off permanently from May-Oct so the ZHP will have commute / daily duties during days of rain / likely rain in addition to casual / pleasure drives.

2012 Grand Cherokee: 12,000. Have averaged 17K the past 3 years, but as it's getting older and higher in mileage will prioritize taking the Wrangler for family travels

2019 Jeep Wrangler: 18,000. Work is 30 miles each way, so that alone will be > 10K in the year, plus taking over family duties from the Grand Cherokee

ZHP: 196,750
f30: 19,071 (lol 10k a year lease, so screwed)

Estimated miles:
I just moved at the end of 2019. My 4 mile each way commute to work is now 40 miles each way... guess I'll have to buy another car to mile out.

At 90,700 beginning of the year. Now at 90,949. I'm guessing 92,598 beginning of 2021.

County issued vehicle 20,000 miles a year, plus 1,400 idle hours per year.

agree that's the variable. I'm at 84,784 so I'm guessing 3,500 more, makes it 88,284............

Apart from running or going on bike rides, going for a drive is one of the few things to get out of the house that doesn't impact social distancing. I'm envious of people with kayaks or other aquatic sports to pass the time. Oddly, golf is still fair game :blink

Wish it was in IL, definitely jealous of states like AZ that labeled it as an "essential sport". Guess if you flip the cups and don't grab the flags it's the same as walking in the park... which is also banned in IL

put my vert in storage yesterday, sad day as usual here in the Northeast as winter approaches! I need to go back and record the mileage, but Covid induced lower mileage. I know it's only 87xxx, so below my early year estimate

Not driving my ZHP much at all since last March. I used to drive my car to work and back twice a week. Then covid hit and the company moved most staff who do my type of work to virtual. It's starting to look like the move is permanent even if covid goes away.

I thought I would be needing new tires about now but I put on hold.

Well, this isn’t good or maybe it is for value sake.

I just looked back at 2019 and had only drive the ZHP 1,660 miles, then 2020 arrived.

Sometime back shortly before COVID-19 shutdown went into effect, we took a drive back up into Tennessee. We stopped to see Jack and when we went to leave, the power steering was gone. Made a few more stops with manual steering and headed back to Bama. Due to COVID and working remotely from home, nothings changed.

Current 2020 mileage is 253 miles.

There is a chance I’ll fix it before years end but, it won’t see many more miles.

161,393 currently on the clock!

Went back last night to the storage unit before today's big snowstorm here in the Northeast. Mileage is 87,317. I'll be back in April.....

That’s correct, still in the same tank. I am anal about running nothing but, Shell V-Power so, it should be fine. It’s also been in a sorta client controlled garage and that may help.

With any luck, I’ll get the parts ordered within the next few days. I’ve been hiding out with the big COVID spike in our area lately. I do have some time off for the holidays and should be at home for some of it. Maybe, I’ll get her back on the road then![emoji1696]

I have probably driven more than most despite the pandemic. Even though no work related driving (working from home since mid-March), I did a surprising amount of driving for outside activities.

Just over 6k miles through Dec 12. I might add another 100-200 miles through the end of the year.

less than 700 miles for my zhp this year, not because of the Pandemic but because I "retired" her from Daily Duties almost 2 yrs ago and just take her out to stretch her legs now at least 2x a week

109,500.

I'll guess 123,000 at end 2020.

As of today, I'm at 116,860. So 7,360 miles, not bad considering the 'rona. Most of the miles were probably at night enjoying a drive without traffic.

I’m at 106,3xx. I would say I put maybe 2k miles on her this year mainly because of being away at school. But thanks to covid, I got to come back home and drive my baby for a few months.

2005 ZHP: 148,865 miles. Guess 2,000

These are my final numbers for 2020. The 335 is stored at my parents' place, I will add that info later:

2005 ZHP : 151,367 miles. Total for year = 2,502
2011 X3 : 123,565 miles. Total for year = 13,360

05 touring: 184,509, which is = 15,001. It is actually great, considering that I didn't drive my daily for 8 weeks this year. It was down for 3 weeks due to the starter, 3 weeks due to vacation, 1 week for power steering pump failure and 1 week for brakes upgrade. In addition, COVID really put a lot if my usual summer camping travel restrictions.

05 sedan: 166, 316, which is = 7,212. My guess was close.
