View Full Version : IAT "Dead plug" part number

In late 2003 and on models, there is no air temp sensor in the intake manifold, but there is a hole. Anyone know the part number for the plug.

I already checked realoem and they show an actual sensor for later cars, but this is incorrect as there is no pigtail.

If nobody here can help you, you might want to try the nearest BMW dealership. They will rip you off a million percent, but it should be so cheap it doens't matter.

Assuming this is the plug for the hole you need I have looked and looked and can't find any plug or cap available. Maybe some of the engine gurus here have come across this before.

As much searching we have done with no results, I wonder if this plug was ever available? Would it be possible to get one off a decent used manifold?
