View Full Version : Subframe + Diff Bushings

All these OEM bushings are good per the shop (salt-free car may help), but I was thinking about doing it anyway for peace of mind. May even weld in the reinforcement plates as it's easy to do with the subframe out.

Was curious if others have done the subframe and diff bushings as a preventative measure at 115k-ish and had any before/after commentary. I'm thinking maybe it makes a noticeable difference (noise, handling) even if the original ones were crack-free.

I wouldn't do them if the shop has said they are good, unless now is an especially convenient time for you to do them.

That being said, if you do go ahead, use OEM Lemförder, and remove the entire subframe. The shocks are likely shot and should be done now.
