Seems more than a typo, VIN decoder says it's a 1987 3 series......

that's the only way to find out.

That's how I just picked up an 08 E92 with 18K miles. Seemed to good to be true, but after a week I inquired. And got real lucky. Absolutely was the real deal

Honestly, I'd expect to find a car with this low mileage on bringatrailer.com so that it would have a larger audience and probably bring more than the asking price on CL

Yes but they are two different animals.

M3 = cost more to maintain and
less comfortable

ZHP = cost less to maintain and more comfortable

Forgot about the Carfax by VIN. I always use the Carfax package that includes unlimited searches by plate (this package isn't always available) when I'm in the market for a car

I still say that there might be money to be made buying this car from the seller and putting it on Bringatrailer.com

Yeah was gonna say the same. Wrong transmission BroEveryone has their reasons for whatever tranmission they choose. It may 'wrong' and 'tragic' for you, but on this site we try to stay away from bashing transmissions. Express why you like or not, but don't bash pls.
