Nicely done.

Last night at around 2330 I waxed the hood and completely detailed the whip inside and out. Rims, tireblack on the tires, etc. Wanted to ring in the New Year on a ZHP note.

Will a stock 330i cat back fit a 323i with stock headers?
I ask, because ever since owning my 323i I have wanted a true dual exhaust like 325/330's. The 323 starts a dual exhaust, then it has a 2.5 inch pipe running under the car, then exits into a dual exhaust..
Thanks in advance!

Header flanges differ by 90 degrees. You'd have some modifications but it can easily be done by a shop.

Dinan exhaust, Euro lights, homelink unit, black cube trim, K&N air filter, the tools from the toolkit (:biggrin)
Oh, and it has the spare on the left rear because the tire is flat on the 135, so I think I'm going to keep that rim as well.

Yeah well, it needs to be 'complete' so I'm not touching more than I absolutely have to. My center caps were hammered (as are my 135s on the whole) so I'm not worried about that. besides, new ZCP rims have BMW centercaps installed... :)
The only other thing I was going to grab was the shift knob/boot, but I have nothing to replace it with... And again, mine wasn't perfect, so no worries. I have my E82 perforated knob ready to go on the new car anyway. And I cannot WAIT for that! :biggrin
Well, as soon as a box arrives from UPS, I will be installing the amber lenses all around and sending her on her way. She looks pretty pathetic, but oh well. On to new beginnings.

It was a big weekend for Echo - I recently rolled over 100k miles, so I hit her up with:
Inspection II, which ended up including the oil change, new spark plugs, air filters, and a fresh upper coolant hose.
New front brakes
DME reprogramming - (my 2,800rpm hesitation HAS BEEN RESOLVED by this!)
Today at 5pm, she gets some new shoes in the rear. The budget isn't all that high with all the other stuff the car needed, so I'm giving some Nexen N3000s a try; they're AA/A with a pretty high treadwear for a max performance summer tire, but we'll see how they actually feel once they're on. Hopefully it'll be a decent tire for the price.

:rofl I was thinking 2.5hrs is darn quick for the whole car, too.
It was on my cousins E36. We skipped the interior, glass, dressing the tires, door jambs, engine.. We just dove right in and got the car looking pretty sweet.
WE called the "recession special" detail.. :rofl
Maybe in 6 months, we will give it the whole 9 yards..

Lap times for drivers who paid for timing are posted here. http://www.speedventures.com/results/Default.aspx?eid=-1999999320
It shows I'm not egregiously slow, just sort of slow.
I was already a moving cone of sorts in Black, though I think my best laps were faster than the very slowest driver in Green.

I appreciate the offer for postage... I will get them in the mail tomorrow, didn't get there today. I assume you guys all have addresses in the contact thread?

Got gas.. and paid cash! Gas station offered a deal of "pay cash, save 10¢/gal" so I had to take that on. I believe I paid $3.69 for some 91 Sunoco.
Then I returned my OE core battery @ autozone and picked up some lithium grease to hopefully help aid my new sunroof shade sliding since it seemed to be hitting a wall. Sprayed some of that in the tracks and voila! I was amazed that just a couple squirts of grease solved the problem. I didn't attempt using the sunroof since I didn't wanna break it, and it wasn't taking the shade back with it when I put it in last week. So I'll wait for spring to test that.

FYI- Shell does a similar thing. Pay cash for a $25,$50, or $100 gas gift card and save 5 cents a gallon. In my area that makes Shell about 1 cent cheaper than everybody else and I know I am getting quality gas.

There is a Shell station over here that gives you a 10c/gallon discount if you either pay cash or use your debit card. I always buy gas on my debit card, so it takes off 10c/gallon. Win.

Even with the 10 cents off, it's still 4.25/gallon at its LOW point. Usually like 4.65. :shifty

Took the ZHP out to a local Buffalo Wild Wings for an MFEST meet. Was scheduled to be at 8PM but me and someone else came early especially since it always gets crowded at BWW. Even more so when it's Lakers vs. Clippers.
Everyone was late as expected so when we heard it was now moved over to Wing Stop just across the plaza, we went there. Nobody was there, and it was equally packed.
We both ended up ordering TG and leaving. :facepalm
E46Fanatics is scht00p3d (excessive burnouts, etc.), MFESTForums is unorganized, ZHPMafia is halfway across the country.

+ 1 million! Meets can be large gatherings or small 2-3 car get togethers. Half the fun (at least from what I've seen with the Mafia) is that its not even about the cars, its just about hanging with the people. :)

Today I inherited several things from my dad but one little thing I got was an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC Laptop computer that I will be converting to become my dedicated BMW diagnostic computer. I will no longer be using my VMware partition in my MBA now that I have a dedicated laptop to perform this unique function. As BP stated to me this evening... I get to use something I inherited from my dad with something I have a passion for - BMWs :thumbsup
