Just curious; Why did you remove it? Any drivability issues?

Down to $2,800, very tempting price.

If only I had finished my suspension refresh by now id be on this

Nothing wrong with it at all. The supercharger was serviced and resealed less than a thousand miles before removing it. Only has about 20k miles on the whole setup.

This was on one of my three e46’s; unfortunately the wrong one - a high mileage steptronic 330i. I removed to put it on my low mileage 2 owner 2004 330i/6 sport (not zhp) but am probably going to run that car on BAT and it will do better in stock form.

I don’t have the stones to put this on my 30k mile Zhp.

I agree the price is enticing. I feel like people drop more money on exhaust or an LSD with far less bang for the buck...

Tempting price for sure. So what is the consequence to putting this on a 110k mile car? Is that a bad idea?

It was on a 140k mile 330i from 120k - 140k with absolutely zero consequences. That car is stilling running like a top post removal!

How would one go about acquiring a tune? Purely curiosity. FI is a pipe dream for me at the moment.

Any tuner can do it for a few hundred bucks

Bump. I can not believe how little the demand has become for e46 parts.

Had literally zero interest in a gruppe M intake, minimal bites in this.

Is everyone now missing e9x’s and f3x’s?

If this helps any, my e90 335i LCI has been for sale since Dec-2018. Only 2 guys have seen the car in person.

it’s a great price and I personally would like to snag it but A. My GF would absolutely kill me and B. I have a strong desire to go with VF even though it’s double the price of this

Some ass hat just offered me $1600 on Craigslist. The nerve...

Dude, we don't need the arrogance.
It's an expensive part. Don't be surprised people aren't taking money out of their 401k's for this. Not everyone has this kind of cash just laying around.

With all due respect dude, there was no arrogance intended. That wasn't rude, judgmental, nor anything. I was simply stating an observation that e46 parts that used to be extremely desirable and would sell within hours or days of being posted, don't seem to generate much interest, if any, these days.

I now notice a typo in my post - I intended to say "modding e9x's and f3x's", but certainly don't think that changes the context of post.

I do think you make a good point that the E46 has basically bottomed out in value so the people buying/modding them are dropping a few hundred here and there at most, whereas the e9x is still fetching a high enough price that the buyers/modders are willing to spend more.
