Let's write down our initial mileage in 2019. Guess how many miles you will drive this year and compare with the real number when 2019 is over.
2005 ZHP: 146,770 miles. Guess = 2,000
2009 335: 138,835 miles. Guess = 1,000 *** Car is for sale.
2011 X3: 94,620 miles. Guess = 14,000
2012 335: 83,090 miles. Guess = 5,000

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee: 114,400
Estimated 2019 miles:

2003 Pathfinder (and/or replacement): 9,000. Full year of commute duties and will try to switch jobs which may require longer commute
2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee: 17,000. About the average miles the past 4 years.

I predict I will put the following on each car in 2019:
The ZHP: 18-20k miles / 28-32k kilometers
The Touring: 10-12k miles / 16-19k kilometers

Here is my predictions:
03 Imola - n/a. I hope it will be sold quick.
05 Alpine - starting the year with 152,179. Prediction - 12k miles
05 Touring - it's hard to predict, because I am driving my Imola sedan untill it will be sold. So, I am throwing a wild guess and put 10k miles.
Year is started at 159,021

2019 starting mileage (kilometer-age):
209,888km
End of 2019 prediction:
224,300km
(14,412km/8,935mi driven)
I’m driving my old man’s E60 a couple days a week to keep the tires from flat-spotting and the battery alive. As long as they have a third car stored at my house the ZHP will only get 75% of the action.

i've put 10K KMs on the 335i since i bought it almost 3 months ago... crazy.
currently it's at 83500KM (roughly 51K miles). i'm guessing my the end of the year i'll be up around 115K KMs.
the X3 is starting this year at 327K KMs. we've put 43K KMs on it since 9/2017... i'm guessing it will be around 355K KMs by the end of the year.

Time to shake the dust off this one!
I know it’s not done yet but getting close and my estimates were way off.
Current on the 2003 ZHP is 161140 so, only driven 1,660 miles! Not 5K.
Boats earliest hours were July 5th @ 52.3 and currently winterised @ 70.2 and Not 70 Hrs
4Runner’s @ 32,555 with a long trip to Ohio next month so, Way over 15K!
The 4 is gone and now a 2, currently @ 12,500+ with a long road trip soon.
I will update all at years end!

Good catch; here’s the year ending data!
2003 ZHP Starting mileage; 159,480 Ending mileage; 161140! Totally babied at ONLY 1,660 miles this year!
2016 428 Cic GONE and replaced with a 2016 M235 Cic; Ending mileage for next year 13,809
2018 4Runner Starting mileage; 14,825 Ending mileage; 34,856 for a total driven of 20,031 and over by 5K
2014 Sea Ray 240 SunDeck first logged hours after a few outings; 51.9, Ending hours 70.2. That total is 18.3 hours but add 5-10 more for the un-logged hours. And still slightly under the estimated 80 hours.

Year is started at 159,021
Sent from my SM-G900V using TapatalkHere is my 2019 summary:
1. 03 Imola sedan - car was sold on 3/30/19. Total mileage driven: 171,077 - 167,510 = 3,567.
2. 05 AW sedan
Total mileage driven: 159,104 -152,179 = 6,925.
I was way off, by 5k. I was trying to drive touring as much as I could, plus my wife was not driving car as much as usual. That is why total mileage was pretty low.
3. 05 Touring
Total mileage driven: 169,508 - 159,021 = 10,487.
That is pretty good number for me. Considering that car was not driven for first 3 month and between May and November I am commuting to work by bicycle 2-3 times per week.

Finished at 103,847, much less than I thought, only 4840 miles.
Got the car running just before summer at 99,700 miles and ended 2019 with 109,500. So 9,800 for me.
I'm expecting about 12k miles in 2020. But have a feeling 15k is more than likely, we'll see.
