Parting out a wrecked 2005 330i ZHP

2005 BMW Imola red, beige interior, automatic with only 65K miles on engine / drivetrain with some front end damage. Driver stepped on gas instead of brake and bumped the wall of building, deploying both front air bags. Left front rail guard is damaged (passenger's side appears okay). Not covered by insurance so clean title but owner has taken it as a total loss and moved on to another vehicle.

Looking to part out entire vehicle as most everything goes. Damage isolated to front of car (hood, grill, front bumper, bumper shocks and driver’s side rail damaged). Engine fully runs - can show buyer. All four fenders, doors, rear trunk in excellent condition. Most everything of interior in very good condition includes full leather seats with ZHP black cube accents.


Car Options: Full performance package, full leather interior, moonroof, Xenon headlights, CD player.

You have to remove the trim piece around it, remove the one or two Phillips screws on the unit and pull it out of the dash. The sticker is on top of it. Looking for 3.x or 4.x

Unfortunately, the bottom part of airbox is broken from accident - only top is good.

Also, I am not sure what you mean by "gloss shadowline trim" for cover piece from Pillar A to Pillar C. Do you have a part #?

If it is part of the "Pillar Cover Set" on this car they are NOT beige but rather black and, unfortunately, all the pillar cloth covering is coming down. Personally, I think these pieces actually look nice without the outer cloth covering, and will still sell them if you want.

Yes, I figured it would be a lot of requests. So here's my strategy ...

First off, it's best to send a PM as opposed to a post along with the part number if you can for easier response on my end and tell me if you can pick up vs ship. It would be much easier to stop by and pick up parts, and / or help to remove them yourself if you want a good deal and quicker response time. I live near Tustin, CA so I'm fairly local to anyone in So Cal.

I will do my best to respond to requests in order I receive them but my time is limited and so I may not respond right away. I will prioritize larger orders first in order to maintain my sanity. Once I get some of the larger items and bigger orders (> $100), sold I can return to the smaller stuff later unless you want to stop by. Sorry.

I only need the top of the airbox (lid) if it's in perfect condition.
So the shadowline trim is the black trim that goes on the top edge of the doors (on the body) from the front side mirror/ windshield to the back of the back door and ends in a curve at the body line by were the window meets the door panel. Mfg Part #

My car is at 316k miles, my alignment is out of whack as of now and my alignment guy said to start with new springs and go from there. How many miles on the current springs? Are they oe springs? Thanks

Where did you find that info? I doubt that the springs are different on manual cars vs auto. Sedan vs coupe, I can understand.

While there might be slight differences, especially a convert, which is a heavier chassis, I doubt you would be able to tell the diff between springs from coupe to sedan.

BUT...if your alignment guy says your springs are causing alignment issues...time to get a new alignment guy.

Where did you find that info? I doubt that the springs are different on manual cars vs auto. Sedan vs coupe, I can understand.I believe it was on ecstuning website saying that the springs for automatic to manual transmission are different... but I'll take these anyways.

The chassis and most, if not all, of the parts were sold off. I spoke with OP and he said someone local picked it up a few months ago.
