I have a 2005 ZHP coupe and need a rear coil spring, three blue stripes, hoping to find one off a car with less than 100K mi
Thanks!
Coils with three blue stripes not easy to find, willing to buy springs with three green stripes. Should be close enough. Some one must have these lying around after a suspension upgrade? Thanks for looking!

Nah, sorry. Sold ‘em earlier this year just to get them out of the way.

I have rear coils from a 2005 sedan that are available.

I would replace both as a set...

Do you know if the spring rates are the same for both coupe and sedan? Do they have three blue stripes?

I imagine they’re very close. I’ll look tonight.

Hmmm, mine have three blue stripes. I’m going to do some more research before committing. Greatly appreciate you digging up the pics etc. I’ll get back to you.

Been off the grid with work obligations. I dug up an old thread from E46Fanatics;

From what I can gather, sport package and ZHP used two color codes; three green or three blue (as discussed above). However, three blue seems to be associated with manual coupes.

Interesting... I wonder if there really any difference.

The coupes are slightly lighter so possibly a tad less stiff of a spring? Just pulling stuff out of my behind though [emoji1787]

It does seem odd, the weight difference is small and why would auto vs manual matter?

Auto boxes weigh more total no? Extra fan, oil cooling lines, etc.

Using BMW listed specifications and only using 325 manual with no options:
A manual 325Ci Coupe weights 3197 lbs.
A manual 325i Sedan weights 3219 lbs. 22lbs. more than a coupe.
A manual 325iT Wagon weights 3362 lbs. 143lbs. more than a sedan.
A manual 325Ci Convertible weights 3560 lbs. 198lbs. more than a wagon.
Automatic Transmission adds 88 lbs.

i might have a set, but they won't be coupe springs. the coupe ones are a tad bit lower for some reason. will see if i can dig them up.

Purchased and installed. By the way, the green and blue springs are the same height (within an 1/8 of an inch).
