are you planning to fix this yourself?
to be honest... that's going to be a LOT of work. you basically are going to have to cut out most of the rear of the car. not worth fixing in my opinion. part it and buy one that's not hit.

Yeah, that car is pretty toast. Not worth it if you're not doing the work yourself, even if the car was free. You can find cheap ZHPs that haven't been in collisions for what it would cost to fix that.

Looking forward to updates if you are going to end up having it fixed.
Is it a low mileage example?

If it was just cosmetic body damage I'd say go for it. But in the video the damage goes as far into the spare tire well, and who knows if it goes further. I never like raining on anyone's restoration parade but I honestly thing this would be better as a part out tbh. Maybe find a better IR and use this for spares. Sorry but good luck if you keep it.

Looks like more than cosmetic. Let us know what’s up.

find a high mileage, rust free e46 wagon and make a ZHP wagon out of it.

The buckle in the quarter panel and no gap left between the door and the quarter panel shows structural damage beyond DIY. You need to take it to a body shop with a frame rack and have them pull that part of the car back into spec. and go from there...
