With my local track closing, it was time to sell the track-built Miata. I used the money to buy this new brother for the ZHP, an '02 S2000 with only 17k miles. She's mint. Together, they make an incredible pair. No matter which I drive, I am ALWAYS happy to get behind the wheel.

awesome! my son and i have been talking about S2000s... i think it would be a smart choice as they can only go up in value at this point.

Agreed. Key is to wait till you find the right one. I waited a while until this one popped up. I was looking for one with relatively low miles (this was much lower than expected) and stock condition. There are a million heavily modded s2k's out there. IMO, it will be the un-modded cars that will go for the most money.

Congrats Blake! Have been eye watering a s2000 for long, but never seriously put it on my agenda. It is a shame that TWS finally got closed. Where do (will) take your cars for track days?
