Hi all. A week ago I bought an 05 ZHP sedan, orientblau with black/natural 2 tone leather interior w black cube. 102K, auto.
I got it in Redmond WA, and from what I can tell it spent the first few years of his life in Florida and the last several years in Washington state.
Replaced LCABs and it feels very tight.
Drives great!
If anyone has any clues on the history of this car I’d be curious to know.

A) Welcome, fellow Pac NWer! What part of Washington are you living in?
B) That's a mighty fine looking car you have there (one of the best color combos available)
C) No clue the history of the car, I don't recognize it.

Thanks! I split my time between Ellensburg and Spokane.
Where are you?
Orient blau wouldn't have been my first choice but I like it and its growing on me. But I love the interior colors and the combo with the orient is great.
The finish looks good from 10 feet away, but needs some detail TLC and paint chip work.
I got it from 2 guys who only had it briefly to flip it. I found an American Express bill in the trunk with a guy named Jay on it, so the may be the PO.

Not sure yet. The guys I bought it from did the cooling system and I just did the control arm bushings. Need to sort out the blue tooth and Homelink (there's a switch in the ceiling panel but I cant find any plugs that fit it...I'm thinking it was an attempted retrofit, but I don't know much about what goes into those systems.
Will probably keep it pretty stock.
I dig the way it drives so far.

I’ve never been to Ellensburg but have been to Spokane a few times. It’s a cool little city. I live in Portland. If you ever find your way down here we should meet up!
Orient Blue wasn’t really my thing either when I purchased my ‘03 330Ci back in early 2013 (RIP), but it grew on me rapidly. I was elated to get my ZHP in 2015 in OB. I love that it can be a dark blue in sunlight, almost purplish in lower light, and almost black at night. I would do horrible things to have your Natural Brown interior.
I look forward to seeing what maintenance you get done. One thing I would recommend is checking to see if the shocks/struts are original. If they are, you’d improve your ride comfort and handling by replacing those since the factory Sachs shocks/struts are only good for about 50k miles. You don’t really realize they’re dead because the car is pretty stiffly spring, but it was night and day difference when I did my suspension refresh around 50k miles.

LOL, I should have noticed your city in the upper right. I lived in PDX from 95 to 07. Still miss it.
I'm actually gonna be there in a couple of weeks, I'll PM you.
I'll take a look at the shocks. It feels pretty good right now, but I don't know what new feels like.
Will know more after I drive the 170 miles to Spokane tonight to r tomorrow.
