Obviously not mine, but saw this on my local Craigslist. They think very highly of the low odometer...

Dang. For that much $, they could at least black the rear bumper rubber. ;)

That's been hanging around that dealer for ages, at least 9 months.

Absolutely. That’s decent M3 money.

I was thinking you might’ve posted it before, but my search kept crashing. So I posted it anyway.

I don't see any manual M3 coupes with that mileage anywhere close to that price. Please show me an example.

Ones with 20-30k more miles can be had in that price range. Mechanically, 85k is effectively the same thing as 54k when we're talking mileage this low.
If you want the same ballpark amount of miles, then you're only paying about $3k more. This is just a quick search on Autotrader.
Here are a couple of manual M3 coupes that can be had within $1500 of that price and reasonably low miles on the odo:
Mmmm, Mystic Blue on Cinnamon:

Personally, I consider 50+% added (and likely abused) miles as a significant price factor. Also, the first link has what looks like an SMG transmission (no thanks), and the second link shows some sort of botched info-center upgrade.

That second link is to Godspeed in Charlotte. I've purchased a car from them in the past. I don't know if any of them are deacons in the church, but they seemed to be OK. They detail the cars they get pretty well, so you have to be thorough in your inspections, because visually they will look good.

A friend on mine got his Zhp from them. They do clean them up pretty good and did offer a 1 month warranty on the engine and tranny. They were pretty firm on their pricing.

They had some type of short term guarantee on the car I bought from them. I can't remember the details, now, but at least you don't have to worry about driving off with a lemon and being stuck with it. And I found the same thing on the pricing. They told me they operate pretty much like Carmax with set pricing. They will come down if you find a flaw, but other than that, not much wiggle room. To be honest, though, the price they had on the car was several thousand less than I had seen elsewhere. It is kind of a neat setup where all of the cars are kept indoors. Another place that seems to get a lot of used BMWs, M's, harder to find cars is Cosmo in Hickory. I've never dealt with them, but know a guy that bought a Z4M from them out of state, and his experience was good.

I think Cosmo is the place that had a Mystic Blue ZHP sedan I was going to go look at before I bought my car. It was “call for pricing,” and when I called they said it had sold earlier that afternoon. It looked really clean, from what I remember.

I put about 1,000 miles on mine each driving season (May-October)--I hate to see it turn 50... : (
