Anyone have advice on cleaning soot/smoke residue from cube trim? I'm researching before I jump in; the mild dish soap/washcloth combination wasn't incredibly effective (although it worked well for almost all other surfaces in the car)

Thanks in advance!

You'll want something to get down into the grooves of the cube texture. I had great results with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol on my old silver cube. I think people may use magic erasers too, but note that they are mild abrasives so respect it like the softest sandpaper.

Just did a quick test - the rubbing alcohol/soft toothbrush is definitely going to be the way to go (once I remove the trims, of course!)
