I'm sure there are a 1000 posts with this question, but still learning the site and haven't found them.

I have just been gifted an '05 with H&R cup kit, about a 2" drop. (fear the speed bump) While the current slightly slammed and stretched tire look is cool to some, the old man I am is taking it back to stock tires and 135 wheels (F: 18x8 & 225/40-18 , R: 18x8.5 & 255/35-18).

Do I need spacers to maintain the flush tire to fender look, if so what size would be recommended?

Thanks

welcome!

personally, it might be best to go back to a stock suspension - a 2" drop means basically zero suspension travel up front.

for stock wheels, a 10mm spacer is just about perfect.

Thanks. Will probably go with 10mm Turner spacers, someone mentioned 12 in the back for a coupe.

The drop is a bit too extreme, that is my next project for this car. Hoping the stock wheels and tires will add a little until I can get to that.

Any pictures of how the car currently sits?

Though it seems almost impossible to find them, I located a set of staggered stock ZHP wheels w/ tires and installed them. If I used the editor features there should be an "before (bottom)/after(top) pix. Without any spacers there's about 25mm clearance to the wheel well lip in the front, and 30 mm in the back. Fender lip appears to be rolled already. So the 10F and 12R, would certianly fit, I could probably go 12F and more in the back.

I need to figure out to post pics better in the forum, these are huge.
