CO ZHP

Greetings Members of the Family,
I would like to take a few moments to relate the story as to why I have come to be a member of the ZHP Mafia.
About 5 months back I began a search for a new DD in the form of a 3 Series BMW Sedan. During this search I came across the ZHP option and thus to this site. I spent weeks lurking as a guest and learning all I could before I went in search of THE ONE. I had a budget of $19k to make my purchase and so 6 weeks ago I came across a 330i on Autotrader.com that was at a Honda dealer in Ohio. This silver gray sedan, now referred to as Gretchen, was not listed as a ZHP and had been on the lot for 45 days. Long story short they needed it off their inventory and I needed it in my driveway so I traded $13k in cash for my first ultimate driving machine. Less than 48 hours after my discovery I was steering Gretchen back to Colorado. Driving both back roads and interstate I soon discovered the write-ups that convinced me that a ZHP was what I was looking for, did not do it justice.
Today I find myself doing many of the things others here do, like parking farther out in the lot, not so much as to avoid dings but just so I can look at her as I walk back from the store. This site tells me I am not alone……and those around me think I am having a "Mid-Life Crisis".
My thanks to everyone here who have unknowingly helped make this a great learning experience and more fun than I would have thought! Looking forward to many happy miles with Gretchen and the ZHP Mafia.
