Is it possible to source the rubber gasket that goes around the turn signal on my sedan or is it considered part of the light itself?

No. You either glue it or buy a new light.

That's what I thought. One of mine has a chunk missing and I'm getting moisture in the light.

I don't think the gasket does anything to prevent moisture. When I glued mine on, it was just hard plastic I was gluing it to.
You might as well replace it, IMO.

I get that too. One of mi lights had a small crack and was causing it. I replaced it and sometimes still get it :-(

I have some factory turn signals in great condition I could check for you if I knew exactly what you needed (facelift, pre-facelift). I could bring them to the meet-up if that is still happening. Let me know!

It appears that all my turn signals are for pre-facelift sedans. Sorry!
