Hey fellow Mafia members--have a question concerning suspension (I think). Sometimes when I accelerate from a stop at a slow/moderate rate, the car feels a little bit rough, it feels like I'm driving over gravel. Once I reach like 25mph (or cease acceleration) it goes away. I'm not sure if it feels more like the car itself is shaking or if I'm driving over something bumpy (which I'm not of course, smooth road). It's not alarmingly rough, but something I'm noticing a bit more.

The car has 106,xxx miles on it, never had any suspension refresh. I'm not sure where I'd even start if I went that route. The car does have new tires and has been aligned. Not sure if related, but in case it might be some sort of fuel delivery issue, sometimes the car does take a few seconds longer to start (fuel pump has also never been replaced).

I'm thinking it's not suspension related but just a hunch. Hard to diagnose without driving it or knowing more.

It could be the driveshaft guibo.

It could be the driveshaft guibo.

Interesting, I guess the way to know for sure is to pull it out and inspect?

You should start by getting the car up on jackstands, crawl under and examine the guibo closely with a flashlight. You may see obvious tearing.
