Introduction
Hello all, my name is Joe. I've been a member on here for a few months and just yesterday I picked up my Oxford Green ZHP sedan.

I like to give all my cars a name, so fittingly I've named this one Olive.
Olive popped up for sale on this forum I little over a month ago and I immediately fell for her. I wanted something different than Imola Red of any neutral colors like black grey or silver. In dim light Oxford Green can look as evil as black or in the sunlight, it can shine like an emerald. I experienced this first hand today after giving her a good wash.

First Impressions
This is my second BMW, the first being a 2009 335 M-sport coupe which I sold about 3 years ago.

The e92, Heidi, was a fast fast car. The N54 is a beast right out of the box. I can't even imagine what they're like after they're tuned. I was a little nervous that I had been spoiled and I was going to feel that the zhp is sluggish. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong. At no point during my test drive did this car feel sluggish, or handicapped in any way. The response from the throttle is fantastic and while I haven't had a chance to really get a feel for the handling, it took some Pennsylvania back roads really really well.
Maintenance
Firstly I have a few maintenance things I'll need to take care of. The pre-purchase inspection came back indicating that the oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, and vanos line have slight leaks. So these need to get addressed before anything else.
I live in Manhattan and the car will be kept at my parents place so this will be a weekend cruiser for my wife and I. We won't be putting many miles on it for now but we have a trip planned for Cape cod. Those maintenance items will probably get done as soon as we get back.
After giving it a good wash today, I realized Ill need to get my orbital out and go to town on the front clip and roof to get out imperfections. I may go as far as to get the hood resprayed if I can't get the results I want on my own. The rest of the car looks great fantastic.
Mods
The 135 wheels really are a pain to clean. I think over the winter, while it's riding on the winter wheels, id like to pick up a set of Apex Arc-8s in bronze. I think the bronze would fit the Oxford Green really well.
On the inside I'd like to change out the steering wheel since it's so worn and put in a leather coby wheel. I'd love to get green stitching if I can.
The next thing I'd like to do inside (and this may be a stretch) would be dye the interior to cinnamon. I'd probably swap in some M3 seats and have the rear and door cards professionally done. The dash will have to come out to put in a black carpet. I've found a cinnamon dashboard, so I think it'll give it a semi-full leather feel. The car doesn't have heated seats so I'd take this opportunity to wire up the heated seat retrofit.
Finally, I'd like to install an alpine head unit that utilizes apple CarPlay. Maybe I can ask for one for Christmas.
Anyway, I'm really happy to finally have a car to share with the rest of the forum. It seems like the members here are incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to share their information with the new guys. And to that I'm very grateful and happy to be part of this group.
