All,
I went to a track day in Thompson CT yesterday, and upon engine inspection, had fluid on the top of my motor, seemingly originating from the ATF FLUID ONLY cap. There seems to have been a small rupture, projecting fluid onto the underside of my hood in this exact location.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Josh

Any chance you were overfilled? How was the fluid level after you discovered this?

The o-ring on those caps tend to leak over time, but not like that.
The cap does have a vent hole in it.

Yeah, it looks pretty directional, so most likely it came from the vent hole. It might be worth a try to change the o-ring.

Yep. Track-sock mod needed.

Given how casual you guys are being, I'm not gonna worry too much about it haha.
I did, however, get fuel starvation and need to get that fixed soon..

I've heard getting the M3 fuel pump baffle can help with that.

Thanks guys, I'll look into this. Hope it's pretty easy. My car was cutting out 4-5 times in a single sweeper. It felt like I had hit an electronic speed limited, total loss of power.
