i did reference your sig; which only lists tire diameter and size. when i said 'specs' and 'staggered', i was referring to the width of the wheels.

Isnt the 225 and 255 the width?? They are all 17". The car is at the dealer now so if there is anything else I cant even measure it.

Wheel width and offset. You stated the tire width...

He needs to know the wheel width (most likely 8.5"-9.0" - or something like that), not tire width in mm (225/255).
For instance my BBS wheel specs are 18x8, ET42 (offset).
Let's all take a deep breath.

Problem is if that size is no on the tire in the images, I dont have that info... I cant even remember where i got the tires, its been a long time, I dont drive that much, my clients are usually a half mile or less from my house, so I dont have any paperwork on these tires.
This is the only info I could find from my last online purchase
225/45ZR17 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
255/40ZR17 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
If you tell me where else I can get that info then I'll get it.

Sometimes the specs will be on the wheel. Not sure if CH's have them but it seems like there is "ET ..." printed on the face of the wheels from the pictures you posted.

I zoomed way in on the original and not clear but I am guessing:
I see an ET 38, does that help?
I also see I think its
81/2J x 17H2

It seems to be 17x8.5 ET38. The other question is whether it's the same for all 4 wheels (square vs staggered). If it's staggered the width and offset of the wheels would be different from front to back.

So thats for the rear, the numbers above.

Seems like staggered tires on a square set of wheels (17x8.5 +38).

Yes. It's not productive and hopefully will stop.
But like any normally functioning family, time for some tough love. You know, the kind of tough love a man may give to his lil bro.
You're asking questions, about threads that we have here and that we have covered many times. That is ok, because after all, this is the most friendly BMW forum on the planet!
But, I will tell you, that you are losing credibility among your peers, and are opening yourself to "subtle abuse", "ribbing", "shenaningans", "tom foolery", "banter" and the like.
I would kindly ask that you do some decent research prior to posting another thread on this forum.
We will continue to support you in your quest to achieve BMW Nirvava, but you need to do your part as well.
Thank you for taking what I've said on board and I hope you have a relaxing, cheerful evening.
DW, out
