All black interior with grey M3 seats, and grey rear seats.

What do you guys think about this combo? Looking at M3 seats on eBay, M3forum etc it seems like grey seats can be had for a song. A lot of newer cars have a grey/black two tone interior and I'm almost thinking it would work well with my matte aluminum trim. Sometimes I think the ZHP needs a little more contrast on the interior department. The black headliner, black everything can be a little claustrophobic. I'm thinking if you swapped the seat backs for black ones, and swapped the black seat control covers over to the grey seats, it could be kinda cool.

Had BMW done their Grey two tone like this I would have been okay with my grey interior. Instead I ended up deleting the entire grey interior I had for the CSL/black interior I now have in my M3...

The factory grey interior is WAY too much grey. That first pic of the grey/black two-toned interior is how BMW should have done it from the getgo. ​That is a very beautiful looking interior in that picture. Someone did a proper job of converting it.

Agreed - I'm not a big fan of brown, but they did natural brown 'right' - would have held out for grey if it was two tone - it gives a nice contrast

I did something similar with my M3. Looked a heck of a lot better two toned then full dove gray.

Agreed. Gray interiors are just too much gray to me. The black accents really help cut the singular color scheme and make it feel less...clinical?

I agree with everyone else here, the black accents actually make it look somewhat desirable.
