View Full Version : Hello from NoVA - 2004 Silbergrau w/ black interior. DD/Track car

Greetings!

I have a 2004 ZHP (Zelda). Picked her up unplanned Sep 2016. I love this car so much.
The car is pretty much stock for now, but we do plan to do a few upgrades this year: catch can, 17" wheels, suspension and diff etc

I'm driving her as my daily and have put in several track days last season at Summit Point (Shenandoah) and Dominion Raceway.
She's a fantastic DD, very comfortable and enough pep for whatever is needed. On track the suspension is just way too floatey and the diff is seriously lacking. Hopefully we can take care of those issues this spring. The goal is to have a trackable DD.
We also have a fully track prepared e30 that I drove last season, so the ZHP would fill in on the track days my husband and I run at the same time.

She currently has 140K miles and is in pretty good shape :biggrin

Next time you are in the area, stop on by. My wife and I both drive zhp cars and enjoy meeting new members.

That would be nice! How cool to have 2 ZHP's.

We have 3 BMW's in the family: ZHP, E36 and an E30, but would definitely give another ZHP a home :)

Back roads up the mountain are always fun, but a track day is way better and gets my vote.
TrackDaze are on Jefferson next month. I'll be at that event helping with tech and running sessions.
It would be great to see some ZHP's there. Although I'm not sure if I'll track the ZHP.

It was unplanned in that we weren't looking for another car when it came along. It had hit a pothole hard and blown the passenger curtain air bag. The guy who owned it let it go for very cheap.
It only needed the airbag fixed and the battery cable replaced and two rear tires.
I'm sure the previous owner thought the car would be a write off or something. His loss our gain.
