Does the vert shifter surround have an extra opening (presumably for the top)?

Not for the top, but the vert does have an elongated left side for the 'all' windows switch

The "all" windows would be an awesome mod though - I love it and wish they would have it on all the models - it's like the AC 'sync' button for those of us with a little OCD

I found the sedan DIY write up. I wonder if it'd work with the coupe quarter windows...

When I first got my car I was wondering what it would take to do this. I forget why I stopped researching...let me know if you figure it out.

EDIT: I found where I left off (link: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?8389-All-windows-up-down-button-can-be-modded&p=445302#post445302). Sounds like you have to use NCSExpert to code our car to be seen as a convertible, and have an additional wire to the GM5 module.
