Does anyone have a spare boot laying around? I need the plastic frame from a manual shift boot. I've exhausted all the options I can think of, and hate to ask Peter to glue the same boot twice.

Please tell us more about this glue. I'm considering an Alcantara Coby boot and want to affix the frame properly. Thanks in advance!

Not sure why special glue would be needed. Is it because of the alcantara?
I used super glue with my leather boot...

I used this with a bunch of file clips as shown. Left it clipped overnight and it came out great.

If you have a frame you can use then that'd be great. It's seriously becoming ridiculous trying to source something so simple lol.

You did a good job gluing and I'm really nervous about separating these two. I'll just leave it be and continue trying to source a frame for myself.

no to concrete glue (and super glue makes the fabric stiff and chalky)
Fabri-tac is the glue I use
manual frames just buy a used boot/frame on ebay( I have them) but pay 25.00 to get them from a 3d imaging guy

This is what I have used on both of my new boots, works excellent and costs a few bucks at the fabric store
